The camera has 2 main coordinate systems that show you the difference of space, they are Local and World view.
Local is based on the XYZ-Axis and how it revolves around that displacement from the local that is specified.World is about the camera reacting to the world space, for example if you are in a shooter game the character look around camera is local and the outer camera for the space that you move around the character is the world camera.
